Our tap house, The Grey Horse is the oldest pub in Consett, and one of the oldest public houses in the region, dating back over 150 years. Originally called the Target Inn, the traditional pub is under the experienced management of Sandra Wilkinson who prides herself with a warm welcome and hospitality to all.
With quality ales, spirits, and two roaring fires, the pub offers a traditional experience, so often lost in newer pubs.
“Beer brewed on the premises all excellent quality real ales Wonderful owners and staff great atmosphere. No Distractions.”
